The '''Women in Theory (WIT)''' Workshop is intended for graduate and undergraduate students in the area of theory of computer science. The workshop will feature technical talks and tutorials by senior and junior women in the field, as well as social events and activities.

The motivation for the workshop is two fold: first to deliver an invigorating educational program. The second goal is to bring together
theory women students from different departments and foster a sense of kinship and camaraderie. Tilghman (Princeton University).

The workshop will take place at the Friend center, next to the Computer Science department at Princeton University. The first event of the workshop is a welcome reception at Saturday 6/19 6pm in the Friend center convocation room.

Dorms: Participants will stay at Scully Hall. Dorm registration time time is on Saturday June 19 3:30pm till 5:30pm at Scully Hall. Outside these hours you can pick up keys at Public Safety which is on 200 Elm Street. Sheets and towels will be provided.

Parking: Use Lot 21 and place this parking pass on the dashboard.

Reference letter deadline: February 10, 2010.
Notification of acceptance: February 28, 2010.
Workshop: June 19-23, 2010.

To apply to the workshop. Please fill out the form below no later than February 1, 2010. You also need to have one reference letter sent to us on your behalf. The letter should be sent to WomenInTheory2010 no later than February 10, 2010 with a subject line of "Reference letter for {your name}". We especially encourage students of underrepresented minority groups to apply.

Regrettably, because of space limitations we will not be able to accommodate everyone that applies to the workshop, and so will accept only those candidates that in the committee's view can benefit the most from participating. We will notify you of acceptance decisions by the end of February. (If you need an earlier notification to allow time to get a U.S. visa, please let us know by email.)
